Gene Fleury's 1986 Grand National - stock appearing and blindingly fast!
Gene's 1986 Grand National has 126,000 miles and has been painted with "Black Pearl Jade" (PPG global) Gene does all his own work, including all the body work and motor work!

Gene's been to the track once but the track wouldn't allow slicks or VHT, so with the tires on fire all the way to the 1/8 mile mark, he managed a 12.08 @ 121.2 with a 2.2 60 ft. Gene was happy with the MPH, but the 60 ft shows how little traction was to be had that day! The MPH was plenty for some low 11s with some decent "bite".

Despite the lack of traction, Gene still had fun driving by all the other "race" cars at 121+ MPH!
