Tim bought this car from the original owner who was n IBM executive whose wife forced him to sell it . She was tired of having to scrape the snow off of her car in the winter as the Turbo Regal sat in storage in the garage . Where were her priorities? Lucky for Tim that she didn't like cold fingers!

As soon as the garage was opened and Tim saw the condition of it, it was love at first sight. The angels sang and TIm knew he was going home with it. The interior is in mint condition, the exterior is gorgeous and it had obviously been well taken care of. It even had the original paperwork and sales invoices.

Tim is no stranger to high performance vehicles, having owned several sixties and early seventies muscle cars , including some big block ground pounding Chevy iron. However, he reportst that this car puts the biggest grin on his face every time he drives it! Tim isn't one to let well enough alone, and he decided to have the body completely stripped of all paint ,glass and chrome and then refitted with two southern doors and trunk lid and a new windshield.

After all the body work was done, it was painted with Dupont base/clear . Tim raves about the quality of work that "Crown Autobody" in Linsay Ontario did. As you can see from the photos, it is a stunning looker!

Tim also tells us that he is stilll waiting to get out to the track after mods were done over the winter . The biggest reason is that he has a hard time getting his wife out from in behind the wheel long enough for him to take it! Of course, there's an obvious solution to that ... buy HER one too!
