I want a 28" tall for the street on my 86 T-Type, I never drive in the rain and its not a daily driver. I currently run 16x8 with 245/50-16 all around and they have plently of clearance but I need all the traction I can get so I'm selling them, going with BFG Drag radials and I want the widest meat I can get under there and at the same height as my track tires. I know the 275/60-15 on a 15X8 will fit as my I have a set of ET Streets (for the track) that are nearly the same size on 15X8 Draglites.

However I'm wondering if the BFG Drag radial 325/50-15 will work on a 15X10 Draglite? I have my fender trimmed already, have the almuminum brake drums and since the 15X10 Draglites come in only 3.5" and 4.5" backspacing I'm thinking I'd go with the 4.5" backspacing and use a wheel spacer for clearance away the frame.

The combo must not stick out past the fenders - has anyone tried this - can it work? I do not want to do any more to the body or frame to get it to fit either. I see some of you guys went with 295/50-15 with minimal or no problems - I want 28" tall though. What do you guys think?
