Mark R Gums (Markrg) | Tuesday, April 22, 2003 - 07:11 pm Hello, I am quite new to this and am looking for good information. I have a nearly new (40K original miles, extra clean) 83 Buick Regal that I want to quietly do upgrades to. Beginning with tires, wheels, and primary suspension. I figured you guys are probably the best place to ask as you already have 90% of it right from the factory. It still has the stock 14" rims and 215/75r15 size tires. I am also going to be installing new stock height BGN springs in the car at the same time, if they are any different than the stock Regal one(I expect they're stiffer). What will I be able ot get away with? I want to run the same rim/tire combination on all 4 corners. Sofar, from reading messages on here the following is the only setup that outright says they'll fit good: Tires: 235/60/15 Rims: 15x8 3.5 backspacing Does this sound good/bad/awful? Any opinions? |
