I recently bought a pair of Kirban's brake dust shields & installed them. When I drove the car the dust shields kept making a loud annoying rubbing sound. I had to take them off because I could'nt stand the noise anymore. Has anyone else had this problem?

I dont know which brand Kirban is selling but there is a company called Kleen Wheels that is producing these shields that fit the best. If they are this brand you might notice when you taken the shield off that there is scrape marks on the inside of the shield from the caliper hitting it as it goes around. What I do is jack up the car and try to fit it again but this time push the shield (almost forcing it) towards the face of the rim as much as possible. This might clear the caliper now. Unless it was hitting by alot, then maybe you have the wrong set? Next spin the wheel your self while car is on the jack still to see if you still hear scraping, if it does trying pushing it a little more.
