I have some 1986/87 GN wheels that are in pretty good shape, but the black paint around the lug holes is peeling off. Does anybody know what type of paint that is? Anybody have success re-applying the black paint?

If I remember correctly, it is powder coated rather than a liquid based paint. I talked with a fellow somewhere out there in the TR world and he got a local paint shop to re-coat his. It was kind of expensive, though (something like ~$300?). HTH
