I bought 4 new center caps for my 87 GN stock wheels a while back from another list member.
I just got around to putting them on the other day and already I have lost 3 of them.
What the heck??
I put them in place, put the lugs back on to secure them, and now all I have are metal rings where the caps used to be.
I am not using the original lug nuts, but the ones that I do use are identical except that they do not have the chrome outer shell. I also use lock nuts (one on each wheel) but again, they are the same size as the rest of the lugs.
I paid about 14 bucks each, so I am kinda pissed!
Any thoughts, ideas of what I did wrong so that I do not do it the next time would be appreciated.
