Brian W. Cordes (Cordes) | Friday, February 15, 2002 - 08:51 am With the G-forces the "K" stands for Key. The "d" for dry, the "w" for wet, and the "s" for snow. The KDs have a lot more rubber on the road, however in a GN I would not want to be stuck out in the rain with them if I had a long drive home. There is not much water channeling ability in the KDs. They handle like a dream though. They are a great value too. I work in a tire shop, and all the guys in the shop really love them. Some guys knock them and say that they would only buy the Michilin pilot sports, and for the Kds, in some sizes I would too as it is only 30 bucks more/tire. The KDWS is way cheaper though. In the end it all comes down to how much money you want to spend. |
