I've been patiently looking for a while now and I've come across this car:

http://www.canadatrader.com/trader/result/affich.asp?sid=65HASDB9327446&rubno=4000&pa=1&pr=1

I was wondering what a reasonable offer should be and what questions I should ask before I make an offer. What sort of things should I be looking for mechanically or cosmetically when inspecting the car? My final question is what sort of things should I pay attention to or try on the road test?

Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

L8r,

ps please add the exchange rate Eh!

I'd first start by reading the Buyer's Guide at http://www.gnttype.org/general/buyguide.html

Without more information about the car's condition, modifications, and mileage, there is no way to gauge what a fair offer would be.

Hey Ned,

Drop me a line - I checked that car out about 2 months ago. If you pay more than $12k cdn you're paying too much! Worth 11k, 10 would be a good deal.
