Several different methods to link the "List" and the "Board" together are under way.
Looks like it's fairly easy to put posts that are made to the "Board" into the "List" distribution. Going the other way is a bit tougher.
What would folks think of a "Topic" that has the day's Digest in it? Every day?
We're trying to make that easier, but it may be an interim solution...
Having a daily digest topic would be good for those that use just the BB and not the mailing list. Only problem that I see would be some duplication that could eventually bloat the archives? Speaking of archives--- will both the BB traffic and all the older mailing list traffic end up in the same archives? Tony Lill's archive search is the catssas. I hope that it will continue to work with the new BB also.
All good points... and experimentation is underway. We'll see....
I'm guessing that if we successfully link things together you can use EITHER search method and get similar info.
