I have a wierd problem on my 87 GN. Whenever I hit the brake pedal, the dash lights and parking lights come on....If I pull the inst. light fuse, they still come on this way...
I have to pull the tail lamp fuse to make the dash lights go out when the brake is pressed.

This is rare but have seen it more than once. Check your brake lights blubs. The tail lamp fillement droups down and makes contact with brake light fillement.
