How do you take the wastegate apart to change the filter? I see the metal braket surrounding the wastegate, does this need to be disconnected to change the filter?

There isn't any filter in the wastegate ... not sure what you are working on?

Is their not one in the Wastegate Control Solenoid. Are the two the same or am I way off on this one. My apologies if I am, still learning.

There's a little foam filter on the solenoid (really cheesy and often missing). The solenoid is up on the Passenger's side valve cover.

The WG actuator is down on the turbo.
