Had to disconnect battery to stop fuel pump (89 TTA)

Pump would get louder when key was in the "on" or "start" position, but would not cease or desist in the "off" position. A stuck relay? I don't have a clue.

Most likely the relay is stuck. The oil pressure switch for pump may my the problem also. If you have a oil pressure gauge there are two switches. One for the pump and one for the gauge.
