I am having trouble with a consistent idle. Sometimes the car will idle fine with IAC counts hovering around 20, while other times the it will be erratic and stall with counts jumping around between 155 and 50. There are times where it will even out while it is running. I have replaced the injectors,plugs, wires, pcv valve, o2 sensor, and vacuum lines. I've cleaned out the IAC which at first seemed to help but the problem re-occured. My MAF is giving me a low MAF trouble code although values are around 6 at idle and rise with RPM, so for I have unplugged it for the time being. Does this sound like a bad IAC unit, vacuum leak, bad EGR, or something electrical or ECM related?
Sounds like a bad MAF. Unplugging it is a bad idea, if you drive the car.
