I ordered the boost/tach calibration chips from caspers and it seemed to help, the lights used to go all the way to red and now they are off until the car is running. I started to notice a problem that while I press the gas the tach seems to not read enough, it reads about 1200 when the car has to be at at least 3000 and the boost doesnt register. Do these chips need time to idle to recalibrate themselves or should it be automatic??
The module needs to be calibrated, which we do at no cost since you purchased the IC's. If you send me the module, I can put it on our scope bench and calibrate it perfectly. The addition of the IC's makes the calibration perfect. We now do the boost/tach units on an exchange basis. Same day turnaround.
