Does the analog dash that came on most GNs bolt right up in place of the digital dash with out wiring modification? I'm just really tired of the digital gallon fuel gauge, and an approximate estimate of my rpms would help (I know its not that accurate). Any help is appreciated.

You will need to change the fuel tank unit and add a "map" sensor circut for boost gauge. Beter bet would be to look at aftermarket GNX dash kit.
Been there and done it. Its not a matter of just swapping the clusters but you do have to change the wiring harness. The easiest way to do this is pick up an entire dash pad with the harness still attached to dash. The dash comes out of a regal really slick and easy by removing about a dozen bolts and screws and the wire harness that you need is the part with the fuse block attached. Disconnect by unbolting on the engine side of the firewall a 3/8 bolt on the connector. And remove 2 screws that hold the fuse block to the firewall from the inside. Disconnect the gang connector by the ECM and remove the radio,A.C control and speedo cluster before you yank the dash out. Just reverse this procedure to put it back together. You dont need to rewire for the MAP as that part of the harness is already on you car. The connector sits out on the RH fender by the ECS module and boost light sensor. All you have to do is run the vacuum hose to it. If you get all the parts as they come out of the car as an assembly it makes this job a lot easier than trying to sort through all the wiring connectors and other BS.
OH I forgot, you dont have to change the sending unit in the tank. The parts book does show different numbers between analog and digital but the digital number has changed to the analog number and I have compared the two and can see no obvious difference and I got the analog number in my digital car and it appears to be reading accuretly.
