Were do I splice the green tach wire into on a 85 GN......I have read about the some green wire and harness running behind the alternator on the 86/87 models, but is that just for 86/87 models?.....or do i splice in somewhere by the coil????maybe green wire going into coil????not sure....thanks in advance guys!!!!!!!!!! nick

The same connector exists on the '85 as on later models, it's sticking out of that huge wire bundle under/behind the coil pack (since the alternator is on the other side of the engine).
