While driving my '86 GN I get an intermittant and random flashing from the "check engine lamp" but when I check it all I get in return is a flashing 12 signal.
I recently recharged the battery and now it won't continue running after startup. I'm guessing I musta fried some electrical widget somewhere during recharge but maybe not. Are the two related/separate?
The fuel pump seems to be delivering fuel okay but upon startup the engine quits running as soon as the fuel line is drained. I've checked fuses and replaced the fuel pump relay but so far I haven't fixed it.
Anybody out there with a similar experience?
