I have ordered the LT1 MAF Translator and LTI MAF. I have a factory stock MAF that is not maxing out at 255/gps at WOT. It usually reads 230-240/GPS. I hope to take care of a problem and hopefully will get a performance increase with the larger opening on the LT1 sensor. I would like to hear from anyone who has upgraded to the LT1 MAF? What kind of performance improvement did you notice.
My TTA currently turns 11.79@114.5 in the quarter, with the "bum" MAF sensor. Hopefully with better sensor readings and improved airflow, I will get an increase in horsepower.

The biggest performance improvement I noticed was that the car would run. :-)
My MAF died, and after trying several reman MAFs in a row I gave up and ordered a T/Extender/3". Later I went with the T+ for additional tunability... I hope that is what you ordered so you won't have to later. What is nicest is the ability to make immediate changes with timing and fueling without swapping chips.
We had a club "dyno day" earlier this month and T+ tuning netted me ~20hp/30tq more than the first run, and this was hot lapped, so heat soak was already setting in. A friend's car saw a ~40hp gain the same day. My "dyno" tune up proved to be quite different than my "street" tune up, but the point is that we had the versatility to do this. BTW, I run a PTE-52, MSD 50s, CAS V2. At the track my best run to date is ~12.10 @ ~113.25 on a 1.77 60' using DRs, 100 unleaded, 23*, 21-22 psi, through a functional cat. My recent dyno #s were 425rwhp and 540rwtq on 25* & 21-22psi, ~80* ambient.
As another testimonial, a friend of mine use to burn his own chips until he got some T/Extender/3" time under his belt. He now doesn't bother and he has gotten down to ~11.50/119 on DRs.

I ordered the MAF Translator not the MAF Translator Plus. Sound like I should have ordered the later for a $100 more...drat. Maybe I can catch John Pearcy tomorrow before he ships my order and request the T+.

BTW, the 3" may not solve any MAF # issues you have if it is being caused by something else in the air flow path, thought 11.79 @ 114.5 would lead me to believe that you ARE moving more than 234-240 gps.
