I have always wondered,....If you install a new set of plugs on "tuning day" and you run them a little rich and foul them out,....are they trash? or can you "un-foul" them at all? I have always took them to a wire wheel on the bench and this seems to work for a while?

For what it's worth:

my friend uses one of these..the plugs come out looking brand-spanking-new. No need to buy new plugs after using one of these as long as the plug is physically undamaged. Just a couple times of fouling your plugs will easily pay for this...
