Does anyone know if the idle air control can be adjusted from the ALDL? I have heard this only once so I do not know if this is true? I know that it should be removed but I just want to try a quick fix this time if it can be done that way Thanks Frank......

There are no 'adjustments' that can be made through the ALDL port. I think what you might have heard is that the IAC will move when the ALDL is shorted.

Its been some time since I've played with this, but if I remember right it will slowly oscillate in and out with the key on, but motor off if the ALDL pins are shorted.

I recall this being the case on the carbed, normally aspirated cars. Hopefully someone will confirm.
