| | Monday, September 03, 2001 - 06:19 pm 87 GN has a stuttering problem, once warmed engine cuts out but does not die. Have Replaced already - ECM, ESC, Spark module and coils, checked fuel pressure while driving. checked continuity of wires on the ESC. Help Please!

| | Monday, September 03, 2001 - 08:01 pm My car did that when I first bought it. The posotive battery cable was shorting out against the downpipe. There is a little clip that holds it along the frame, but it had come loose. That's an easy one to check, at least. Geoff Bouma gdouma@home.com

| | Sunday, September 09, 2001 - 06:34 am I had a similar problem which turned out to be the cam sensor. Warmed up the car till the surging occurred, then unplugged the cam sensor. Revved the car and no more stutter so I swapped it out. Greg Matsui gmatsui@hawaii.rr.com
