If the car is primarily a 12 sec car and you arent a regular bracket racer your money would be better off spent elsewhere. However, the 2 step stutter that is in it is an invaluable asset in getting a consistent launch that is necessary in serious bracket racing. There are many 10 sec cars running without it, but by the time you are well into the tens you may find the additional spark an asset as well. FWIW I run low 11s with out one but then again I'm not a serious bracket racer. A bud of mine runs 10.5s without one, and another bud runs 10.3s with. He swears by his for the consistent launch. (He also has it triggered with his trans brake switch) Just one guys opinion. |
