can i use the GN wiring harness that comes with the 86 GN engine i might be getting in my GTA? or do i have to get a TTA one?

I just put an 86 GN drivetrain into my 80 El-Camino, and what I found was that the engine wiring harness is seperate from the rest of the wiring. I would seperate the stuff for engine management and only use that, otherwise, leave all the climate control, lights, etc., from the pontiac in the car.
