back again,
the radio all of a sudden stop picking up clear radio stations and it has been a couple of months since the antenna was replaced. I took the glove box to get to the radio and i found the orginal coaxle cable, whoever changed the antenna before i did ran another cable to the radio, and i took that one out when i replaced th antenna but did not replace the stock coaxle cable. I can wiggle the cable to make clear reception, bt cannot find where it comes in clear. do i need a new cable or what, and i'll probably have to unscrew the fender again, huh?

It is possible that there may have been an extension on the origional cable that was poorly ran. If you replaced the origional then all you would probably have to do is replace the extension. See if that helps any.
