Hi! I understand that Caspers sells a digital dash upgrade that stops the blinking at 85MPH. Do you know if anyone just sells the upgrade chip so i can install it myself?? I am pretty good at electronics repair and would like to save a few bucks. Thanks
I'm pretty sure Casper's will sell you just the chip as well.
I just called Casper's....they will sell you a chip for $75, but in order to take it out, I think the boards have to be separated and the chip heated up, because it's covered in epoxy. Also, the guy at Casper's said that they don't charge any labor to put their chip in, you just have to pay for shiping. I think the total comes out to be $85 for them to do the mod. Hope this helped!
