| | Tuesday, January 22, 2002 - 08:30 pm I cant seem to find the instructions for diagnosing the coil pack to see if it OHms out correctly in the tech articles. Without using caspers tool, can someone give me the step by step, and also what numbers I should be looking for, as well as how the meter should be set up? TIA Charlie KngCharles@aol.com 87 GN

Normally, they should read between 11-13k ohms. Temperature will sometimes affect the readings, but this test is normally good 75% of the time. When I say front to rear, I mean if you're standing & leaning on the drivers-side fender to test, check the left & right terminals on the coilpack. HTH
