| | Monday, February 11, 2002 - 02:16 pm My engine guy has a nice oil filled fuel pressure gauge that he said comes ready to put in. It has a 90 elbow on it and all the right couplings. Any idea where I can find these? He doesnt remember where he got it. This is to mount permanently under the hood. DT

Their number is 1-800-635-9781 or you can check it out on the net at http://members.aol.com/ideapage/poston/ My whole set up cost about $80 but it works really well, and it can but placed under your windsheild wiper for tuning. | | Wednesday, September 04, 2002 - 09:00 am Autometer sells a fuel pressure guage that you can mount inside the car, it has an isolator that allows you to run the guage into the car without actual fuel going into the interior. It comes with a line filled with what looks like antifreeze in it. I have used this guage in my Camaro for years works excelllent but its not cheap.

| | Sunday, October 13, 2002 - 06:39 pm I'll second the Auto Meter with the isolator!! The only problems you will ever have [ it's all mechanical ] is if you change the fluid between the isolator and dash unit. You MUST follow their instructions!! Replace the fluid with 50/50 antifreeze and water for obvious reasons. I also STRONGLY suggest that you heavily insulate that same line from the heat of the engine!!! Mine would not zero when shut off because of expansion and when it got really HOT under the hood, the pressure would be artifically HIGH! Ron
