Maybe someone can help me figure this out?
I have 87GN. Mods. are Green stripe inj., adjustable fuel pressure reg., 307 pump,hooker 2 1/2 exhuast, VDO gauges(boost,oil press., water temp.,and knock gauge)Stock turbo and wastegate.
Thrasher 93 chip.
Here is the problem: I'am getting spark knock at 15 psi of boost( I can hear it). I've got good fuel in the car(tried all the different 93octane pump gas at the good stations)I can put the stock chip back in and it does not spark knock at 15 psi. Scan numbers appear okay.
I have the fuel pressure set at 45psi vaccume line off(checked with two different gauges)

What does the scan tool and knock gauge say? What numbers are you getting? It could just simply be that the Thrasher93 chip has more timing in it. Everyone's combo is different, just because someone else can run that chip and 15psi doesn't guarantee that another person can.
