How exactly are you supposed to adjust the max boost with an adjustable wastegate. I have a TA51 turbo, with 3" downpipe...all the vacuum lines are hooked up correctly and into the solonoid. If I open the wastegate by turning the rod, I get more turbo lag, and not more max boost. If I close the wastegate, I get less lag, but no more max boost. I'm maxing out at about 14-15 lbs of boost. I've got the wastegate closed all the way. It just doesn't make sense to me. Please advise.
Get a bleed valve to replace your wastegate solenoid.
