Well, v3.0 is getting CLOSE to release! We're in a rigorous test phase and I'd like to ask some folks if they'd email me some captured files from their existing TurboLink?

What I would really like to see is:
- files from 1984/85 unconverted cars in both Normal and ALDL mode
- files from TBI equipped vehicles (B-Bodies, trucks, pickups, etc)

I'd like to do some verification of the import code (which imports and converts these files), the values that are read back on the displays, and the handling of the mode switches. I figured we could get some pretty decent data from the field this way for double checking.

*IF* you see some values (especially in the TBI files) that don't look reasonable, or should be something different, let me know in you email so we can concentrate on those to see if there's a conversion error.

Thanks a bunch and send the files to accelerate@acceleratetech.com...

Ken,
I have a 1988 Chebby w/ a 350 TBI. I think it is one that TLink 2 covers. What do you need for files? How long of a recording do you want, and under what conditions. And no I won't do a quarter mile run with it. It would be embarrassing.

Just looking for a couple of "normal" type driving files. Also, yours has an eighth VIN digit = K right?

A minute or two of data (maybe a quick WOT blast from 30-50 or so)... some stop and go.

Just want to compare old with new and make sure the new stuff is working.

THANKS!

OK, I'll do that this week, and send it to you. Just remember, a WOT blast from 30-50 is gonna take a couple of minutes. No turbo. Ya know. At least not yet. ;-)

Brian
P.S. Yes, I think it is a 'K'.

You've got mail!

Hopefully you will only get it once. I had trouble sending it, so you may get a couple of copies. I hope not.

Sorry, sent it again last night with a different email. Should go through now. If not, let me know, and I'll drive the truck out, drop off the floppy. It's time for a vacation anyways.
