I recently got this GN and I want to make it a little quicker. The car is completely stock except for a K&N air filter. I want to get the car into the low 13’s or even better mid 12’s. I don’t want to go to crazy, like changing the injectors and so on. I have heard good things about the Thrasher computer chips. For the track I do have a pair of M/T ET’s (26/8.5/15). I am putting this under Turbo Street modified and Scan Tools, Chips, and Tuning, so I can get the most results. One more thing I was wondering, if I took my car to the track right this instant, threw on the slicks, what should I expect the car to run? Thanks for any help.

Go thru gnttype and perform the "spring cleaning" and then follow Ken Moshers recipie for a faster, better performing TR. But to summarize, assure the car is in excellent base tune. Install a higher capacity fuel pump (the factory one is probably about dead by now anyway....and was barely adequate new), hot wire the pump ckt to ensure full voltage, add an adjustable fuel regulator, open up that air filter to allow cold air, put in 116, and a race chip, uncap the exhaust (ahead of the cat) and the car should go mid 13's right there. Add slicks, a low 13. I put a guy with a stock car, with air filter, 009's and XP pump to 12.48 with slicks and race gas. Not the best you'll ever hear about, but not too shabby.
