I am trying to install a tach. What wire is the tach singal.
If you car is an 86~87, the tach lead is behind the alternator and has a male terminal with a green plastic isulator. There should be two leads coming from the harness in this area. The other is a black female. It is the hotwire lead for the fuel pump.
