Well,....I just installed a new 160 thermostat and as reached down to put the clamp screw back in the water neck I felt somthing move,.....
It was my cam sensor clamp,...it just about fell off!!!! This cannot be good can it? will this effect my idle? does this have anything to do with the ruff cold star Im having?
The guy I bought the car fromm says It wont effect anything. He gave me a cam sensor "tool" w/ the car but do I need this? shoud I follow the procedures setting the cam sensor on this sight??? someone please help soon!!!!!!!!
Everything will be fine. Yes, follow the procedures on this website. Don't know what tool he gave you, I did very well using the masking tape, voltmeter, and measuring technique. No problems and my car starts right up.
I can't speak about the cold starting problems, clean IAC, reset, and set TPS voltage per the website. See what happens
