I have some problems with my 87 we4 and I am trying to take care of them one at a time. My first question is I preformed a compression test and 5 cyl.s is around 170 but I have 1 at 150 (#3) is there a problem? Or should I be worried? Another question is there any way to test a type 2 coil pack under load? The reason I ask is that the car loses power and sounds different at around 2000rpm and up. That is the main reason why I am going through the engine to begin with.
