| | Monday, December 24, 2001 - 08:05 am I have the same problem. Seems when I get on it real hard, then stop real hard, it will stall. Anyone have any ideas? Sorry, I do not own any scan tools. Mods are on my web page. Please email me direct if you are a digester, I am a msg board user only. TIA! | | Monday, December 24, 2001 - 10:05 am When I had the problem, I removed the IAC, cleaned it and it's housing. Replaced and re-adjusted the IAC. Idles like a champ. Full throttle stomps, let off the throttle and the engine does not die. Melvin

| | Monday, December 24, 2001 - 12:48 pm In addition to removal and cleaning, I would suggest a TPS adjustment. You can do this one with an (accurate) voltmeter and do not need a scan tool. See http://www.gnttype.org/techarea/faq/IACreset.html

| | Monday, December 24, 2001 - 01:01 pm I will try it tonight. Thanks all. This site is so useful. It's like Christmas 365 days a year...now if I could only convince my wife that it was a good idea for me to drive a muscle car to work everyday instead of a $2000 rice burning beater...
