How do you remove the gov?
You have to use an aftermarket computer chip that has a higher cut off point, or none at all.It also might be possible to send your stock chip out, to someone who burns chips, to remove the speed limitation. Hope this helps.
There are many chip references including image files and detailed spreadsheets at http://www.gnttype.org/techarea/ecmsensors/ecmpage.html. Looking through them you can find the fuel cutoff at location 0796 in the 86/87 chip. You wouldn't so much 'remove' the governor as set it high enough that its well beyond the car's capabilities.
