I have read alot of posts and have be hearing that guys are swithching the pedals in their P/M equiped cars so they can instal a vacuum booster. I purchased a kit from a local performance brake shop (Stoney Creek, Canada)that has a modified booster that bolts right on to the P/M pedal, makes for a very easy instal and works great. If anyone is intersted E-mail me and I will give them contact info.

I have recently installed B-car 12" front and Baer Touring 12" rear disk brakes. Converting car to factory intercooler so will loose the Hydroboost. Want to go vacuum with double diaphram vacuum booster with a master cylinder with plastic reservoir (save weight). The Hotchkis
bulletin for b-car front brake conversation suggests using GM P/N 18008884 or 25509416 M/C (the 1st one is a cast iron unit and second one is probably cast iron also) for Caprice, GM 18010120 booster (87 Monte Carlo vacuum booster), and GM 1256193 brake petal...discontinued part but available in "recycling" yard for about $30.

Does anyone know which master cylinder would work for my combination? Also, does anyone know where I might find technical info (diameter and stroke)on master cylinders and vacuum boosters?
