Thursday, October 24, 2002 - 04:58 pm Hello to all GN fan out their. I NEED help.. I have a very serious problem with my brakes on my 87 GN. They do not work half the time.... This issue started about a week ago. I started getting the hard pedal symptom. i have reason to believe that it is an electrical problem because the brakes will work fine for a minute and then all of a sudden not work at all. I can also feel a constant thump on the brake pedal with my foot sometimes and thats the only way i can tell if the brakes are going to work. (almost like its building pressure or something). All the connections to the power master cylinder look fine and are not loose. I also checked the fuses.their ok too.But like i said the problem is intermitent.Sometimes they work fine. Sometimes they dont work at all. All my brake pads are fairly new and still have plenty of meat on them. And i know for a fact that this problem is not caused by overheating the brakes. Someone please help me with this one because my GN is my only source of tranportation. you can email me back at: nicholascawley@hotmail.com Thank you for your help and your time.. Sincerly: Nicholas Cawley...
