In my search for a new accumulator the gmpartsdirect price is $125 but they note that it is a special order part and non-returnable.

I called the manager of the dealership where I bought my last two new vehicles and he offered to discount the $204 retail price and give it to me for $150. I'm sure if it is defective or if I have any problems with it I can return it for another one.

What would you do?

TIA

I have never seen a defective one. Dealers won't take back special order parts or let you try parts to see if it fixes the problem. Just make sure it's your problem first. Don't buy one to store for a long time as they have a shelf life.
