I recently converted one of four 86 turbo Buicks to vacuum brakes. They work great and the car stops straight and fast for the first time ever. However,since the conversion, the hazard lights click but no lights come on. I tried a new plug in but same result. Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so what is the fix? I also had problems under certain driving conditions when I plugged into the PVC hose but solved that with a new vacuum block with an extra port. Any help will be appreciated.
If your hazard lights don't work, then I can guess at the problem. One, your flasher may be gone, or two, unplugged. I think the flasher for the hazards is the one in the fuse box. The other flasher that works the directionals, is under the dash, usually clipped to a bracket just above and to the right of the steering column.

Brian, I checked that and even bought a new one. It clicks like it should but no lights. I thought maybe it had something to do with the wires that are no longer plugged in to the old powermaster unit but if no one else encountered this, I probably knocked something else loose when I was putting in the new brake pedal. I thought there might be an easy fix but it looks like when all else fails, I best refer to the wiring diagram. Thanks, George.
