I have an 87 gn with te61 turbo, .82 precision housing, standard adj. actuator arm. I can't adjust my boost any higher than about 19 and once i get to that point no more turns on the arm will make a difference. Also the actuator is really tight. I tried a different chip and nothing changes.Is there anything I can test on the diaphram to see if thats bad? or could be the wastegate selonoid? any other suggestions
They make what's called a heavy duty arm this allows for higher boost. Hope you have a tuning device. Call PTE for the arm this may solve your problem.
