I bought an 87 GN with some aftermarket parts on it. One of those parts is a turbo from Kenne Bell, all it says on the ancient reciept is stage three turbo, and I was wondering if anyone knew what it was or if it is something different than what you discuss on this site. Thanks in advance.
Depends on when it was built. Some of the oldest ones were just a larger compressor wheel and housing modified for it. Didn't really do much, added a bit of lag ...
Later on, it might be a Cheetah Stage III, which is similar to a TA49.
Well it looks the most like the TA-49 in your pic guide, and it has a AR 60 on the housing if that helps any. When I look at the comp wheel the blades are even, the two that overlap stop at almost the same spot. Well hopefully that will help. Thanks
