I have an 87 GN. When I look at the bottom of the intercooler shroud, it goes straight down and ends at the sway bar. On the bottom, I see slots on one side and fasteners on the other, leading me to believe that a second piece has broken off. Is there supposed to be another piece that curves forward? I believe that this is the stock shroud but cound be wrong. Is the stock part a one or 2 piece item?

It does sound like you are missing a piece. There is a scop that faces the front of the car between the two baffles (that run from front to back.) It extends down about as far as those baffles and appears to be made of some rubber-like material. It is held on by pop rivets and prone to damage. I have had to repair mine. Does anyone know if this part is still available from GM?
I think you might have to buy the whole shroud
It is sold as one piece. GM # 25526377 duct assembly. I don't know if it's still available from GM. Call any GM dealer and give him the part number.

Checked with Keith Soffa at Arnold Palmer Cadillac - found through the "GM Parts" resource, a great guy who obviously loves our cars - yesterday. The shroud was serviced as one complete piece and is no longer available from GM
I'd take Scott's advice and try the trader section.
Thanks to all for your advise. I found the lower shroud piece at kirbanperformance.com. I would have to reattach it myself. The entire shroud and scoop would be about $150. The search continues... (I may end up going with the Kirban solution)
