I bought and adjustable fuel pressure regulator from Kirban. It has the vacuum line on top like the stock regulator. It also has a vacuum port in the center between the two mounting screws. What is this connection for ?
Is it neccessary ? Where do I tap to to supply it ?

Thanks for patience...

Dave,
I also purchased a billet FP reg. from Kirban about 2 months ago. mine has the vaccume port on the top and an allen head adjustment screw next to it. the port on the side between the two mounting screws inserts into your fuel rail on the car (it should have a rubber "O" ring on it to seal it). I would think that yours is the same as mine but i could be wrong. i am by no means an expert, but i hope this helps you out.

Yeah, Thanks.. its the same one

I feel like an idiot, I noticed after posting when taking a closer look. I am getting some detonation after installing a cold air kit.
(see my post a few threads down). I ordered the regulator,fp guage and adjustable wastegate to get things under control until I can get scan tools. I will be getting Turbolink but the budget has no room for the laptop just yet.
