Just curious as to what it is/isn't. Owner of car I am looking at says this is one of the mods a stage 3 turbo. Anybody know? Thanks!

Turbonetics made a "Cheetah Stage 3" at one point. I think it evolved over the years and is approximately equivalent to a TA49? Not sure of that though...
Ken is right. The turbines are the same, however the compressor is just a tad larger than the 49. The Cheetah uses the T04B Super H compressor which measures 2.298"/3.00" and the 49 uses the T04E 60 which is 2.290"/2.95". According to John Craig, the Super H flows about 5-6% more than the 49 comp.
K.B. makes a stage three also. I asked jim bell what that was equal to and he said a TA51
