yves boudreau (Flyboy) | Sunday, October 06, 2002 - 10:40 am just got done putting my engine back in my car, but the fuel pump and the injectors refuse to work. the pump runs if i jump it with the gray wire behind the alternator but the injectors dont seem to work . I checked the plugs and they are dry from any fuel, so when i put the ingnition switch on i cant hear the pump, could i have forgotten to plug something up ? everything ran ok before i pulled the engine out! Help! Yves MTL. Canada |
Scott Keller (Keller) | Sunday, October 06, 2002 - 10:56 am I've moved this since it really didn't seem to flow with the 'oil in intercooler' thread in the 'Engine mechanicals' area. Sounds like your fuel pump wiring is hooked up. However, your FP/INJ fuse may be blown (under the dash), or your ECM power wire may not be hooked up (orange, near the battery). That, or perhaps some other major harness connector is unplugged. Could you have left your ECM disconnected? Scott |
