| | Wednesday, February 05, 2003 - 02:42 pm I've narrowed my search for a cold air kit to a Big Mouth or the one from ATR. For a daily driver in Ohio, which is the better choice? I'm concerned about the elements getting to the Big Mouth. Also, is there any performance difference between the two? Thanks, Brian

| | Tuesday, March 04, 2003 - 09:39 pm I just purchased the Big Mouth kit from Mark Hueffman. The sound it makes is awesome! You can hear the air sucking into it under boost and it's impressive. I went with the Lite kit so I can polish the aluminum pieces. Takes some finagling (sp?) to get it in just right, but it's fantastic.

| | Wednesday, March 05, 2003 - 08:48 am I went from a open scoop in the drivers side air dam (with a flexible tube) connected to the snorkel of the factory air box to a home made unit that resembles Mark Hueffman unit. The tube from the air dam put all kinds of garbage in my air box. As stated previously, the sound from a Big Mouth Cold Air kit is awesome. Also, Marks unit is very reasonably price!! Even making my own, I cannot compete with his price. I just get the satisfaction of saying I made it myself. Though my home made unit utilizes some different pieces, the concept is the same. IMHO, get the Mark Hueffman unit.
