Anybody know or have a set of quiet 3" mufflers on a 500+ hp car? What model mufflers?
Im looking at Ultraflows and Hooker Aerochambers, but this isn't for my GN - it's for my '69 406ci Fireturd. She's gonna be running 10's in a couple weeks, and I need something that allows me to drive it silently on the street, and i'll use my manual exhaust cutouts to open the exhaust when racing. Flow isn't as important as being quiet, but obviously i'd like mufflers that can flow well.
The name of the game is silence, but not something thats gonna choke the car.
Any tips, or hands-on info from our faster bunch here? I have Flowmasters on it now, and you can hear it in a 2 mile radius when im romping on it - wayy too loud.
