I have a set of Green Stripe 32# Disc Injectors in my 1986 G/N.Other upgrades are 70 mm T.B.,ported stock turbo,Terry Houston 3" downpipe,K&N Cone filter,Ram Air,High Output Fuel Pump & adjustable fuel regulator.
The problem is that both Turbolink & Scanmaster say I am at 128 BLM (@ IDLE)but it smells like it is running super Rich! I can adjust my fuel pressure down to where I get 150 BLM and it still smells like it is running so rich it gags me like I'm in the middle of a Tear Gas chamber!
I've even made my own chips varying the injetor size and still no difference except the fuel pressure needed to achieve good BLM.
Has anybody run into this before? Thanks in advance,Curt.

You might have a pin size hole somewhere in the fuel feed line spraying raw fuel.

I once had a car start leaking from the pressurized side of the fuel pump under the hood....took me awhile to find it, it was such a fine mist. I could smell it inside the cab while driving. Luckily the whole car didn't blow up.

It might be worth it to try a new O2 sensor ... I've seen a lazy/bad O2 sensor cause this type of behavior...

I just put in a new Heated O2 sensor from Caspers and I have triple checked for fuel leaks & vac leaks.

Check the fuel lines where they go into the front
frame. I had a leak at the gasket for the pump hanger once. Check and smell fuel filter area fpr, fuel rail all these areas have o-rings. I also had a smell that would drive you crazy with 40lb inj's since i switched to 42.5's the smell has disappeared. HTH

I came across this one once. Someone at the track had a problem with his car. It was running rich it seemed. It turned out that his fuel pressure regulator was leaking. But you couldn't see it. It was leaking into the vacuum line. So, at idle it was sucking gas through the vacuum line. Just a thought.
